Visit the Beijing Garden; a Chinese traditional garden within Lennox Gardens, on the foreshore of Lake Burley Griffin. A traditional Chinese gate welcomes visitors. Paths meander past sculptures crafted using Chinese stone masonry. The Chinese pavilion offers a place for quiet retreat to enjoy the garden's serenity and beautiful views across the lake towards some of Canberra's famous landmarks like the National Museum and Telstra tower.
The garden, opened in November 2014, is a centennial gift from the Beijing Municipal Government to the people of Canberra to celebrate the significance of its sister city relationship with the ACT Government.
