Hillocks Drive embraces several kilometres of spectacular, rugged coastline interspersed with quiet, sandy beaches and rock pools. A photographer's delight, well known for rock and surf fishing and a haven from the pressures of city living. Kangaroos, pygmy possums, emus and native birds abound in nearby scrubland. Hillocks Drive is located 16 kilometres from the restaurant and facilities of Marion Bay and 18 kilometres from Innes National Park. Hillocks Drive is best known for bush camping. Camping areas are spacious and cater for a variety of different camping styles. Water non-flush toilets and rubbish removal are provided. Hot showers and flush toilets are available at the shop. A small store sells ice, bait and basic supplies. Permits for day entry or overnight stay based on a per vehicle basis and key are hired from the shop during opening hours or from the permit room. A small additional fee applies for amenities per person or family per day. Hillocks Homestead is a spacious four bedroom farmhouse located at the gateway to Hillocks Drive and caravans are available at Butler's Beach.
