Darlinghurst Theatre Company develops, produces and presents outstanding professional artist-driven theatre. Since 2001, it has staged over 200 productions in collaboration with more than 1000 artists.
In 2013, Darlinghurst Theatre Company moved to its new home Eternity Playhouse. This 127 year old heritage listed building was recently restored and renovated by the City of Sydney into a 200 seat state-of-the-art theatre. The larger and more prominent venue is allowing Darlinghurst Theatre Company to develop an exemplary and more sustainable theatre platform in support of more than 100 artists every year. Eternity Playhouse is one of the most beautiful and unique performance venues in Australia and is fast becoming a prominent theatre destination in Sydney.
