You’re never far from places of historical significance when you visit Young because the town is steeped in history. Two heritage walks are currently recommended and both start from the Young Visitor Information Centre at the former Railway Station on Anderson Park. There is plenty to learn about the town from the days on the Lambing Flat goldfields through to Young’s current status as a thriving town in a rich rural setting.
