Whale Bone Gallery is a co-operative retail art gallery in Port Fairy, a small coastal village at the end of the Great Ocean Road in the south west of Victoria. The gallery is run by its artist members and features examples of some of the finest work of this region.
The artists include Jill Edwards, Robert Gatt, Freya Marriott, Heather Wood and Berit Hampel. They work in a variety of media including paint, ink, textiles, glass, jewellery and photography.
As well as presenting an interesting collection of individual works, both large and small, the artists come together to work collaboratively on installations and two major exhibitions of new work annually.
