Crookwell sits atop the Great Dividing Range at an altitude of 980 metres above sea level, which gave them the name for Crookwell's premier biennial art event: Art on the Range, held at the Crookwell District Art Gallery.
This time around the event is being held to coincide with the Crookwell Garden Festival. This art show attracts works from a wide range of talented Upper Lachlan Shire artists and from further afield including Goulburn, Yass, NSW South Coast, Wagga Wagga, Canberra and Sydney.
