Jerilderie Steam Rail and Heritage Club has a mini rail seven and a quarter inch gauge that is run by an enthusiastic group of volunteers continually adding to the mini rail area on the banks of the Billabong Creek behind the Visitor Information Centre.
The 1.9 kilometre track includes a mini station, a bridge and tunnel meandering through the gum trees.
There is fun for the young and the young at heart with steam and diesel engines.
The Mini Railway holds running days on the second Sunday of each month (weather permitting).
During the summer months there is twilight running also.
