On 16 November 2020, Qantas Airways will turn 100 and to celebrate Qantas Founders Museum has a number of activities planned throughout the week. From 16 to 22 November there will be the following activities:
On 16 November, the official 100th birthday of Qantas, the Museum will provide free entry to the Museum for all visitors and a birthday cake for morning tea will be available for all to enjoy.
Local artists will perform in Qantas Founders Museum’s McGinness’ Restaurant during lunch while guests enjoy a variety of lunch specials.
Free Children’s activities and activity packs will be available during the week.
The Curator will present a talk about the history of Qantas.
The Museum will provide daily one hour Hangar Tours.
Bookings are not required for these events except for the children’s activities. More details about the children’s activities will released at a later date.
